The number I saw for Palin's Alaska was over 5,000,000 watched the show Whatever the purpose of the Show is, besides making some moola, I believe it will do more for Alaska tourism and the cruise ship business than anything the state tourism board or the Alaskan Chamber of Commerce has ever done. Palin is on the front edge again and already the big doubters and critics are at it. "She is too hokey. It was a poorly made video. It's all politics". And once again, she shows her lack of "gravitas" (Rove). LOL It was vintage Palin and the Palin family. Some will like, some will not. Her base already believes in her and many of her political views. I suspect this is as much for them as the people of Alaska. Having been to Alaska several times, it was still enjoyable to see some of the scenery on HD. I think I'll watch some more. Rather pleasant to view a show without the usual cascade of sex scenes, cussing and hate. When one cannot argue the beautiful scenery, the bears fishing for salmon, the down home commentary, then argue the characters in the film. Poor acting. LOL
