No, he is not the boss this guy is youtube.com

Fairholme is holding all controversial names it is going to be interesting how it plays out. The names he holds might very well do well in time (I think so), but his shareholders might not have the patience and this could make the fund underperform a great deal if they bail. If we do get a significant correction from here I see a lot of his die hard shareholders bailing this time around because everything he holds is hated. DSWL, CSCO, JOE all hit 52 week lows today. Have to say the big pharma names and large cap tech stocks are all reasonably priced and pay out nice dividends. They trade pretty close to single digit P/E earnings ratios and cash flow multiples. The tech names are loaded with cash. I think a basket of names in both sectors will do much better than cash looking out a few years. Buffet said a while back that the pharma names were cheap and holding a basket is a decent play. Well they are cheaper now and I believe the large cap tech names are in the same boat.
