Herbvic; I see the squeezing out of tiers taking/has taken place in retail. Only those with some kind of drop ship deal, or those in a 'convenience store' situation can prosper. Of course well run outwards seekers will do well, the sit around types are toast. If Apple serves the small dealer this way and the ship is next day/same day early order air I can see a profit in that. This is usually done with warehouses at fedex/?? sites so an early AM order can make it by 3-4 PM, or the more common next day air. Apple will have a cheap bulk freight deal to help it fly with fedex/??.
I am not sure what Apple will actually do, I make general comments here.
