They could have, but it would have been an act of war against the UK, which was an ally of the US.

And what do you mean "UN crime forces".. NK invaded SK.. that was the crime. And the UN (primarily US) response BARELY thwarted the complete takeover of SK.

Then Bejing decided they wanted to get involved in defending the aggressor NK regime.

So if you think the UN is a criminal organization, why is China holding a permanent seat on the UNSC?
