But of course I am not a wise trader,, but I would not call myself an idiot investor either! Surely high techs have come down dramatically but do you really think at their current prices they are still overvalued?! If so then I suggest to take a look at their past, current and future anticipated earnings, in addition to considering the fact that global economic prosperity (and especially in light of the alledged slow down of the South East Asian markets) relies in optimum productivity which can only be achieved through technology. If at the end you come up with a negative view of the tech sector and still think their current valuations are still too high, then with all means go ahead and call me an idiot investor, given you were sincere and logical in your analysis of the tech sector!
