Wow! Thanks for the article. I new JAVA had problems especially with VM and the alleged write once run anywhere paradigm but this article brings home in no uncertain terms just how dismal things are for SUNW with regard to JAVA.

I remember reading an article in August I believe that reported how many programmers who initially started using JAVA were dropping it and moving to the MSFT platform. I guess things continue to go downhill. At least MSFT is working to provide a consistent interface with tools and language extension for JAVA. I'm sure that MSFT will emerge as the saviour of JAVA and lead the way in developing JAVA into a great programming language.
