I was curious about the tax thing- at least in terms of black/white taxpaying. This seems to suggest (quite rationally) that blacks may, actually, be more burdened by taxes than whites: blackeconomics.org Fascinating paper, and I can't say I ever thought about this in compliance terms. But the idea is quite compelling. Anyway, thought you might like the information. There were several other interesting papers out there on this issue, but I just don't have the time to read them now.
