There are reasons that Worldnet currently uses X2 over Kchips. They utilize COMS comm-servers. They do have a working relationship with Bay, so this could make for a transition to the Rockwell implementation on a small scale, but given that most of the deployed comm-servers are COMS, this would be a partial transition. I expect you will see a transition to the ITU standard using the existing COMS hardware when that is available. Until then don't hold your breath.
