Agree on conservation.
I hate giving govt any opportunity for more power by giving them money to distribute, but I'd like a way to encourage domestic production (and jobs) of solar, wind, near limitless renewable energy and discourage use of imported oil. Maybe on a retail basis, take fees when oil is bought to be burned up and refund it back when renewable energy is bought on an individual basis (excluding big commercial power generation.)
Why exclude biggies? I'm sick of seeing little guys money being distributed to corporate fatcats and resulting in giant salaries and bonuses for ceos and wall street while small investors and consumers get surreptitiously screwed.

Why are the malls, restaurants, and offices temperature set for "Siberia" all summer? I never leave home without a sweater in summer, even in the humid southeast.

Course I have 10-15% bodyfat so I don't have the insulation some others have.
So why are the temps set for people who are overweight?
Why do I get to pay extra to check a bag with my clothes on an airline when the guy sitting next to me carries an extra 100 pounds onboard for free?
Stop discrimination against thin people!
<grin>
Life just isn't fair,eh?
