Why is Toshiba putting ZiVA on the motherboard of a notebook that doesn't have a DVD drive? The 750CDM......................

In addition, Toshiba plans to ship two Tecra models this month:the 750DVD and the 750CDM. They share many of the same features, but the 750DVD has a DVD-ROM drive and the CDM includes a 20x CD-ROM drive. Powered by a 233MHz Pentium MMX processor, the Tecra DVD model has 64MB of RAM; the CD-ROM version has 32MB. They include a 4GB hard drive with a 13.3-inch color TFT active-matrix display. The models also feature 64-bit accelerated graphics with PCI bus video and S3's Virge/MX 3-D controller.

The Tecra 750DVD and 750CDM have ESPs of $5,799 and $5,299, respectively.
