Palin Hatred Takes a Dark Turn at Dancing with the Stars John on November 19, 2010 at 9:06 pm TMZ is reporting that someone sent “white powder” later determined to be Talcum powder to the offices of Dancing with the Stars: Cops and other emergency responders raced to CBS Television City studio late Friday after a white powder substance was discovered by a member of the “Dancing with the Stars” staff … and sources tell us Bristol Palin may have been the intended target. This is the second deranged response to the show in the last week. Just a few days ago a man shot his television when Bristol Palin made it to the finals. Police were called and there was an actual stand off for several hours until he surrendered. No one is responsible for the unhinged actions of these two individuals but themselves. That said, we all know that the left loves to trot out the “climate of hate” argument whenever someone on the right does something crazy. In fact, Media Matters has been working this angle on Glenn Beck for months now. And they’ve been echoed in the Washington Post by Dana Milbank, among many others. The truth is it’s a big country and no matter what you say it’s possible someone out there will be inspired to violence by it. I do think it’s worth noting that, in this case, Bristol’s offense isn’t speaking out on controversial issues but being related to someone the left has made a cottage industry out of reviling. We all know that the only reason people are upset about Bristol’s success is her last name. If you want to have a “climate argument” let’s have one. What does it say about the “climate” the left has created when Palin-hatred transfers itself to her 20 year old daughter’s appearance on a stupid TV dance show? verumserum.com
