clinton didn't balance the debt - or the deficit during a fiscal year (debt went up every year clinton was president).

he came close due to blowing the beginning of the credit bubble that will eventually impoverish billions of people.

but the moronic public will still look back at how pretty the politicians polished the knife that was used to gut them.
