Even the poorest Indian villager knows how to think for the benefit of himself and his family, sometimes to the detriment of the overall good. That is why when he goes to foreign lands whether in the Americas or Africas, he does all right. No fault of the villager. It is the governance that is weak in India.

On the other hand the sheeple in western democracies think that everything is hunky dory when their governments are lying to them. And like you, they keep believing that because they have dominated for a couple of centuries, they have the god given right to dominate for ever. And nitpicking deficiencies in other cultures without acknowledging their strengths and values.
