TRI has a payout ratio of 112%.

I have the same payout ratio from Fidelity and I don't understand it.

Fidelity shows an annual dividend of $1.16. It also shows TTM eps through 3Q 2010 of $1.76. If you go with the 4th qtr consensus of $.48, 2010 looks like $1.80 eps. That would be mid-sixties, not 112%.

Estimates for 2011 average $2.38 which if met and with a div increase to $1.20 would have a payout ratio of a little over 50%.

Not sure what type of earnings calculation is used to get 112%.

Would you like it if the payout ratio is simply wrong?
