Harry, do you really think tech stocks are too high? You can't be serious about that. There are many large cap non tech stocks out there that are way overvalued even after the correction (KO is the most prominent) and those stocks have not yet corrected enough. On the other hand most of the tech stocks are quite undervalued right now. Do you think a COMS at a forward PE of 12 is overvalued? The same goes for SUNW, CREAF, INVX to name just a few. And where do you want to lock in profits? I'm a long term holder of COMS but there are no profits left. My profits on SUNW erode day by day (in at 27). Should I really sell my shares to the big guys at those rock bottom prices? It sure is no fun to look at my portfolio right now (60% in tech) but as an INVESTOR I don't really care. I don't need the money today or tomorrow and by the time I need it I'm pretty sure my portfolio will up again. Holger
