Today while walking in the woods by the local dog park I saw what I thought was a wood cut out of a crane. I thought to myself who would leave such a thing in the middle of the woods? So I started walking towards it. It turns out it wasn't a cut out........When I got about 25 yards away it flew away and of course I didn't have my camera. It was a good size bird with an at least 2' wing span. I don't know who was more startled me or my dog! The crane looked similiar to this one.... Edit: It might have been an egret.
