Zeev, Fonar could do 1 breast at a time too, but wouldn't normally for the reasons you mention. The fonar Quad system is not anything special for brest imaging and can image breasts or anything else, albeit with some limitations. The Fonar thread has lots of enthusiastic supporters of Fonar but much of what they sy is tainted by what they would like to believe, such as "Fonar is great for breast imaging". In fact, Fonar offers nothing over ANY other magnet in the QUAD. I suspect, as I have said, that they are going to announce a dedicated machine for breast, much like the system Warren just posted. THAT machine, and others like it, will be introduced at the RSNA and will give the ANMR system a run for its money. It is obvious tht a cheap machine tht can give good mammo results will be a winner and so I think there will be lots of vendors throwing their technology at it this year. This is all just guessing though.
