Could you elaborate on "how the houses are positioning themseles now". How does one know when Cannacord, for example, is buying for their own account as opposed to a customer's account? The Financial Post had the uncoverd shorts listed a couple of days ago. If I remember correctly, the shorts, 155,000, were covered so as Oct. 31 there were no uncovered shorts. Is this a signal that the shorters are assuming a bottom has been reached? Sorry if these are rather naive questions. I'm afraid that there's much I'd like to know but I have to start where with the simple things. At least listening to you guys, I now know about covered and uncovered shorts in the Canadian system.
