"Apple never fought, it allowed itself to be prodded into irrelevance as it was bypassed." I agree with that. Again, it was a fat bird. They were so secure with their huge cash reserves and dominance of the GUI market that they never paid attention to the competition. Fat birds don't fly. But now it's fighting. Fighting for it's life. Yes, it's been beaten badly. But I think it's still got some fight left in it. Down but not for the count. It's the mythical archetype of the hero who has travelled a long way, persecuted by the God's, the elements, monsters and overwhelming enemies. Yet it still fights. Pulling all it's strength and resources and hopefully by guille it will win the battle. Resistence is not futile! -Bill_H
