I think most people don't much care, but I agree it could be better. We have 3 Mbps Internet which ought to be adequate and sometimes it is still less than I would like. But there has been a good deal of improvement. They are paying attention to the issue or they wouldn't bother with the surveys I think. Either way I think they are in the catbird's seat for now. I think most people are not very sensitive to quality. My wife, for example will choose analog TV over HD with some frequency. Just doesn't care.
