Preet Bharara seems to be an ambitious type following the path of Rudy Guiliani, Eliott Spitzer, and Andrew Cuomo - who all played the tough prosecutors to set themselves up for future positions of Governors or Mayor of New York. If the pattern is similar, he stands for Attorney General next and maybe Governor in the next decade. Of course there are still many hurdles.
