Premise: The Euro will implode.

Question: How to profit when la merde strikes le ventilateur

Answer: The obvious vehicles for small fry like us are ultra short ETFs and ETNs such as EUO and DRR.

But most here are heavily into gold. The USD will presumably rise when the Euro implodes and, also presumably, gold will suffer. How to protect? Is the answer a hedge via double short Euro vehicles?

I am leaning this way.
