I also am currently a shareholder of MACE. I have owned the company for several years and am now again "exploring" the company on the hope current management can revive its sales.

I called the company today and found out that they are experimenting with some advertising of mace products on cable television networks. The target audience is women and one of the shows that they advertised on was Fit TV.

They are also trying to piece together their strategy for the franchises. What I gathered is that they will focus on urban areas. Possible sites include an expansion in Denver. Pittsburgh and the state of Florida was also mentioned. I asked who would be their competition and I found out that there already are security-oriented stores in Florida by the name of Security World. Do you know of anyone who has visited a store solely based on security?

Apparently, sales for the Federal Labs division are going quite well. But that has been the case for a number of years. I am curious what
percentage of sales is from consumer oriented sprays what percentage is from security institutions?

The goal of the company is to make the product more visible, especially to women. Too many resellers have placed it on a back shelf where it is out of sight and out of mind.

I appreciate the fact that you have started a thread on this company. Do you know how many shares are owned by management? I think I read several months ago that many of the options for management can be exercised at roughly $1.50.
