One of the most reliable trading rules is "assets that that ignore bad news are usually headed higher while assets that ignore good news are usually headed lower." The big dollar rally is bad news for commodities, but they have pretty much shrugged it off. How long commodities will keep ignoring bad news is anyone's guess, but as long as they do the odds are that prices will grind higher.
