Jean, Craig, et al, to substantiate what Jean said about L2 or not L2 in the
Pentium Pro package, go to the intel site below. A picture is worth a
thousand words.

To keep the debate going, Jean, Dell, HP, DEC, Data General, NEC and
about 20 other companies have already announced workstations and/or
servers based on Pentium Pro, and, based on the description of cache
hierarchical design, they are using the Pentium with on-chip L2 cache. I agree
that the one without the L2 on board will be the choice for PCs.
