If a court is to allow any part of any religion to usurp the protection afforded to an individual by the Constitution, necessarily making an exception for that practice, it thereby respects an "establishment of religion." In condoning a religious practice without regard for the Constitution, it is the religion that becomes supreme. This is what the Muslims seek.
