Roger and ALL IMPORTANT QUESTION ON YEAR 2000 STOCKS one question, I was just looking at PTUS another one of the puppies and on a recent 8k noticed they are adquiring Millenium dynamics (do they trade? is it another short?. One something flashed through my mind. One of the rationales I was using for shorting these stock is that there is now way they can achive the growth required to justify their valuations. But if they start buying revenues.....Ofcourse if they take over a public company and you are holding the adquired co. you are in bad luck because you will probably cover the short at a premium. If you hold the adquiring co. the situation is not that clear. Can some smart and experience people outthere give a hand here? how about you CR are you stilltaking a break from retirement?

PS: I was long SDS for several years but sold last yanuary as careful analysis of their financials revealed their exiting business was not growing much. Yet they could sport 30% revenue and 20% profit growth by buying private companies and paying with their fre cash flow and issuing debt and accasionally equity. Could this happen here? it looks like the bankers may start recommending this sort of deal.
