Hagedorn didn't leave Intel to work for TI. When he was hired, he agreed to stock options with a strike price of $38(revised since). Yea, he moved from Europe just to sell Cube at $40. TI might want to buy CUBE. Without a buy-out, how much is the stock worth next year? I don't think anyone will pay enough to shake it loose.
