Unemployment = 8.8% Underemployment = 17.2% Does this mean that there is now 26% of employable people who are not employed in the jobs they were trained in. Does this mean that a man trained for a $60,000.00 per year job is now working for $20,000.00------if he could get the work-------i.e. flipping hamburgers at the local burger place? It doth seem that using these two figures 26% of eligible American workers are not working or employed at wages significantly lower than their former jobs. 26% is a rather hefty amount-------don't you think so Kenneth?????
