So the first map showed 2 routes. So what? Look at the official site. There is only one. Get over it. There is a line from SJ over Pacheco Pass and an upgrade to a line from SJ to the Delta...Stockton. Ain't that cool? Get over it. The line down the Valley still needs a stretch thru the Corcoran area to get from here to there, too. Don't ride it if you don't like it. Your state ain't rich enuf to be paying taxes for it, anyway. Not very big, the Texas economy, for all the bluster. This is just California money staying home instead of going to insulate Okie doublewides.
