Hey Bob: I'm not a doctor, but your question is a good one. One witch neither of us asked the neurosurgeon. She had many Cat scans and MRI's. It was deemed she was a good candidate for a spinal stimulator. In my wifes specific case. She was most concerned about the quality of her life. She also has a morphine pump implant. If you believe your a candidate. I would ask that question to a neurosurgeon if you go to a pain center. If your a candidate for spinal stimulator you will need to go through a trail first to see if it helps your pain enough to warrant an implant. I have a link. If you haven't done some research already. I wish you the best.
