I really don't know much about Santo, but I have personally lost interest in the Hall of Fame.

I remember when sports columnist Shirley Povich (father of the gossip TV guy Maurey Povich) gave a talk at my high school and he said when asked that they should just stop admitting people to the OF because all the good ones had already been admitted. For me that was prophetic. Being elected to the HOF has become more like a popularity contest than anything.
So much co that I no longer have any desire to even visit the HOF.
