Good grief, man. I am saying that I don't believe in communicating with ghosts, spirits, you name'm. That is not the same as calling you a liar. You are probably honestly convinced of the verity or reality of something that you have experienced. Can I not be afforded the right to disbelieve it ... without it becoming an act of personal hostility?

I don't believe that you contacted a spirit.
That does not give you sufficient leverage to say that I am calling you a liar. That is an odious accusation, one that I would only make in extremis.
A sourly amusing circularity could result. By gently chiding my masculinity ("... man up.") you might be seeking to provoke me into being intemperate and saying something that would be hard to defend. If you INSIST that I am calling you a liar, you would need to invert my demonstrations that my remonstrations aren't personal. That would open you to accusations of being a ...
