It is a blessing that we have infinite clean water. That may be a reason in the future to draw people to the north.

Our water comes from deep aquifers high in the mountains. It is so soft it does not even line the pipes with mineral deposits. Tastes just like spring water and it is always ice cold.

We also have hydro power.

Just baked a piece of fresh king salmon. We have little pollution and our social systems are intact and strong. Lots of money in the bank because of our permanent fund.

I see what is going on in the "lower 48" and we are finding ourselves to be very lucky.

The right wing is determined to destroy this country.

Although I am about to move south, for young couples wanting to raise a family safely, Southeast Alasaka, Juneau, is sort of a sanctuary. Jobs and a pristine environement and mild weather.

I don't much care for the rest of Alasla except as a wild area.
