Roger,

I have spent a lot of time on the DELL thread trying to convince a lot of people over there that their are many more companies out there to invest in besides DELL! But, I have keep up with the other threads and noticed that a few post here are predicting the next movement in the stock market so I'm going to give it a shot! Remember I follow TA and FA and from a TA view point it looks like we are going down from here! It might be a test of the lows of the other day, but I think it will be much more than that! From FA view point I feel the stock market looks out over the next 6 to 9 months and I think the market is telling us that we could very likely have a recession in the up coming year! We are due for one! Also, most people are still predicting the bull market will continue and the other folks are saying we are in a normal correction in a bull market! WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT A BEAR MARKET IS? You got it! There are none, if there are any there are very very few, and they are considered nuts! Think I will take the contrary view point and get ready for an old fashion BEAR market! Could get very ugly since most investors/traders today do not know what a bear market can do to them! As far as the FED is concerned I feel Greenspan and company are behind an 8 ball and the US bond market has already called the shots! The FED use to be the leader, now the FED follows the Bond markets, which says that the investers and traders around the world are more in tuned with the economy now and has the the ability to set the rates themselves by the bond market! It looks to me that the FED is in a no win situation! If my prediction comes true we will see bounces along the way, but they will be sucker bounces so I would be a seller on the bounces or atleast be very careful with them! Just some thoughts! Still be very selective with longs, raise cash, and sell almost any company that has a PE greater than their growth rate!

Hank
