Further, in a hypothetical match-up against Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, Bloomberg pulled in a small 11% (Obama got 44% and Romney got 38%). Of course, Bloomberg has billions he could throw at his unpopularity problem. But his cash has already shown diminishing returns here in local elections and vast spending didn't exactly work for Meg Whitman in California, now did it?
