Problem placing Schwab website order-- anyone experience similar?
On Friday just before the close I entered an order on the Schwab website to buy 8000 ICO at $8.01 limit, which was $.01 above the ask at that time. I clicked the order and expected to immediately have the 'review' screen appear, which I would click to place the order. But instead of the 'review' page, a page came up which detailed the order as does the review page, and also said "This order cannot be submitted. The reasons are given in messages below" (referring to the messages that sometimes appear on the lower section of the review page under various circumstances) However, there were no messages lower on the page, and the page offered no possibility to place the order. Just two clickable choices-- 'cancel' and 'change order'.
---- As I puzzled over what to do for part of a minute, the market closed. I called Schwab, and read off from my screen the "This order cannot... etc" to a rep. That rep contacted another rep, and that rep told me that he could see my 'footsteps' and that according to his record of my 'footsteps', there was no page such as I described, and according to the official record I had been presented a review page which I could have used to place the order at 3.59.40, but I had not placed the order.
---- Has anyone experienced a similar event?
