But the problem for Linux/FreeBSD is that I don't even
need to compile. All I need is to do it on my home Linux,
upload (z-modem/ftp or whatever) to my home directory
and run from there (Petz: this is the way you crash it,
not through CGI).

I never said Linus/FreeBSD is bullet proof but this bug
turn them into a UNIX that cannot have any terminal/telnet
access at all. You just don't know when someone would
do the above.
