Transliteration IS important if you're attempting to educate your audience, rather than just talking to yourself.

It's not what you say that matters. It's what your audience THINKS you're saying that's important.

If you tell the average English speaking Military Historian you're interested in Sun Tze, it's likely they may not recognize the name. But they will certainly recognize Sun Tzu.

And btw, I have read Sun Tzu.. And Clausewitz..

But I suggest you study Yamamoto for what he said of the US after he lead the Japanese forces that attacked Pearl Harbor.
