Not wanting higher taxes does not necessarily mean one is selfish or has a me first attitude.

Of course it means that....who are you trying to kid? You all are the first to complain when gov't services are not up to snuff while diligently looking for ways to cut back on gov't spending. I can't remember who said this but he said when they try to steal the money from the US Treasury then we will know democracy has ended in these united states. That's exactly what your party is trying to do...........drain the Treasury dry. Bush was classic in that regard.

All you people care about is your wallets. Nothing else matters.......and you are infuriated if someone else benefits from your tax money. You are in the game only for yourselves.....and maybe your families. No one else. You are the bad guys........period.
