All Obama has indicated is that he will not veto an extension of tax cuts if it comes along with extension of unemployment benefits. It is now for the congressional Dems to provide the votes that will finally put it on the President's desk. The Dems, instead of going ballistic, need to display some gall and not vote for it. If that happens, then Obama has demonstrated his willingness to bring everybody together. So it is the Congress who continues to have the bad image instead of Obama. I think it is again a brilliant move by Obama in preparation for his 2012 bid.
