Thanks, Joan, for the reply. I stopped by B&N on the way home and checked it out. Great picture on the front (ggg). Does he have any newer editions since 88?

Skimmed the shorting chapter - good points as you mentioned. Up until now overvalued stocks like AOL, DELL, YHOO have had too much upward momentum to short IMO. Since they have trended down lately, are they safer shorts? Or are they just reacting to the market like most other stocks? Seems like it's hard to evaluate a chart on a particular stock, if it is affected by externals such as the market in general. What if the market turns around? Won't these stocks continue their overvalued, hyped-up trek upward?
