RE: AMD, Intel, PC builders plan to drop VGA by 2015 Remember when it was VGA vs. TTL? Urban legend was that with TTL a software exploit could be used to set the scan rate such that monitors would overheat and catch fire or blow up. Why would anyone ever let a technology like that go? :-)
