I told you you ought to think it through a bit farther. What I objected to if you had "bothered" to read the post was that:

Dumb question. People make choices every day.

Another dumb question. Of course not.

"You either mean the horrible things you say or you don't"

I mean exactly what I say. Neither of my answers was "horrible" in any way. You are going into Eeeek mode again and we don't need that, believe me.

Disagreeing with some teachers and some teachings, and being an advocate of murder to stop said teachings, are two entirely different propositions. One is quite innocent and is indeed, commendable. Good parents teach their children to question--as do good teachers. Your advocacy of horrific murder, and your glib reference to it as a "good news" story, and your pathetic (and so very clever) attempt to make my belief in the mythology of the bible (and the harm it has often done to society) into an endorsement of murder, is not only gratuitous--but quite malicious and evil on your part. I understand that you feel inadequate to engage a discussion without vicious ad hominems as a tool and weapon, but please respect that SI has some very intelligent people reading posts, and the one who is being exposed is YOU.
