<It seems like someone decided to dump a bunch of shares at the end of the day. The last trade of the day was 54,000 shares at 7 15/16. All the damage was done in the last 15 mintues 104,500 were dumped.>

Keeping in mind that the futures of GTIS & MPRS are linked, why does GT drop 13/16 and MPRS only 1/4 ?? Keeping in mind the 70% value ratio MPRS should have dropped 9/16 today.
Your post told the story: an institutional investor decided to reallocate assets and traded out. With the low volume all afternoon, the trades had an exaggerated impact on the stock price. The stock should recover quickly as value investors snatch up a bargain. Remember on "Blue Monday" the stock hit the 7 15/16 - 8 resistance point and bounced right back up.
I find it hard to believe that this move today potends a pending Q4 earnings warning as some here have speculated. Less than a week ago management stated they were still comfortable with estimates dispite not having Unreal shipping in Q4.
Don't know about anyone else, but I perceived todays price drop as a most excellent buying opportunity for those smart enough to see a bargain.
Cheers
Bill
