Hollywood Loses Big on “Fair Game”

By Don Irvine | December 3, 2010

The latest attempt by Hollywood to gather sympathy for fellow liberals while attacking the Bush administration has fallen flat at the box office.

This time it is the movie “Fair Game” which tells the tale of former diplomat Joe Wilson and his wife Valerie Plame who was outed as a CIA agent and rehashes Wilson’s accusations that President Bush misrepresented intelligence reports on Iran’s quest for uranium to manufacture nuclear weapons to bolster his case for going after Saddam Hussein.

Well after nearly a month after being released the movie has flopped at the box office earning $6.2 million domestically and $12.2 million overall for a movie which cost $22 million to produce.

With results like these it makes me wonder where all the liberals that should have supported this movie were?

The producers will be hard pressed to recoup their investment as the once robust dvd market has tanked and the public’s appetite for movies like this has also waned considerably. Instead of the cant miss movie with bombshell Naomi Watts in the lead role the movie just plain bombed.

PS: Did you read the wikileaks documents regarding all the yellow cake found in Iraq?

wnd.com

In 2008, our military shipped out of Iraq – on 37 flights in 3,500 barrels – what even the Associated Press called "the last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program": 550 metric tons of the supposedly nonexistent yellowcake. The New York Sun editorialized: "The uranium issue is not a trivial one, because Iraq, sitting on vast oil reserves, has no peaceful need for nuclear power. ... To leave this nuclear material sitting around the Middle East in the hands of Saddam ... would have been too big a risk."

Reality versus this libtard crap movie!
