"However, I completely disagree with your assumption that comparable states can be achieved at will. It is a singular experience which requires deviations in neuroplasticity.",
I wasn't referring to the manic state which was associated with your experience, I was referring to the lucidity, heightened perception, and flow of experience you enjoyed. These things are all described by others who are in disciplined control of their experience, including what is described as paranormal by people outside the experience. The difference would be the ability to push the pause, undo, and rewind buttons during such experiences at will, resulting in more comfortable connections with those who would be otherwise put off by what you described as a manic episode (concerned parents or a cop in the museum, for example). Perhaps not the exact experience you described but certainly similar enough to draw comparisons and to be worthy of consideration. Think of it as delicious but not gluttonous living. |
