Its not misleading at all, let alone purposefully. Its true, and directly relevant to your attacks on Republicans.

Its also a very minor point of my post, and deals with an issue that we've already been over, but I guess its something your really fixated on.

Whatever your fixation, the fact remains that a larger percentage of Republicans than Democrats voted for the bill.

And it was not dems, it was dixiecrats (conservative dems)

"Conservative Dems" are Dems. So it was the dems.

And it wasn't conservatives in general it was a specific group of Dems, more identified with being from the south and with supporting segregation than with generally being conservative.

More to the point of my post that you responded to, voting against the bill does not imply racism, or support of or pandering to racists. But I guess this is just one more example where you think people can't possibly disagree with you unless their evil and/or stupid... I submit that thinking that way is overly rigid and narrow, and tends to be unproductive.
