think that you are correct blankmind, which reinforces my theory. Makes me think back 35 years ago or so when hi-fidelity and stereo audio was the rage. all techies wanted the latest high powered amps and speakers although most of them were tone deaf. the same is true with computers. Bragging rights are important and I have observed many with high powered pentium 2 machines that are used for nothing else than word processing. looks like good times ahead for APM andWDC.
