Tell me where I am wrong! Only 50 out of 230 Dems oppose Obama's tax compromise. You can't get any bill passed with 50 votes in the House. Liberal Feingold refused to vote for a bill that would have let expire just the tax cuts for the rich. It was all or nothing for him. There could be no compromise for him. Obama and Pelosi asked Reid to take a vote on letting the tax cuts for the rich expire BEFORE the midterms. Liberals Murray and Boxer objected because they were afraid it might hurt their re election chances. In some perfect alternative universe, liberals may be the wonderful creatures you believe they are but in this imperfect universe, and I say this as a liberal, they are major pains in the butts. And I can understand why Obama is frustrated even as I think he should not be expressing that frustration publicly. So then, where you are wrong is glorifying liberals while ignoring the reality......all IMO of course.
